PANOZ IS THE FEATURED MARQUE AT THE 2015 DESERT CONCORSO

Organizers honor American luxury sports car manufacturer and loyal Panoz fans and owners at Fall 2015 automotive gathering in Palm Springs, Calif.

Nov. 11, 2015, Atlanta – Panoz, the American sports car brand hailing from Hoschton, Ga., is the featured marque at Desert Concorso, a high-end automotive gathering to be held Nov. 15, 2015 at Palm Springs Stadium in Palm Springs, Calif.

Panoz Auto Development Co. founder Dan Panoz, son of DeltaWing Technology Group chairman and Panoz Motor Sport Group and American Le Mans Series (ALMS) founder Don Panoz, will be on hand for the festivities and to reminisce about the company's history and humble beginnings in 1989.

Many loyal Panoz owners have registered to exhibit their personal Panoz creations, including several Panoz Roadsters and various Panoz Esperante coupe and convertible sports cars.

Panoz is bringing two special cars from the Panoz museum. The first is the 2002 Panoz LMP-1 Roadster S 'Spirit of America' that Jan Magnussen and David Brabham drove to victory at the inaugural Cadillac Grand Prix held in the nation's capital on July 21, 2002. The second is the 2006 Team LNT Panoz Esperante GTLM, a replica of the car that won the GT2 class at the 2006 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Panoz also will display its 430-horsepower 25th Anniversary Edition Esperante Spyder, which along with its higher-horsepower Esperante Spyder GT sibling commemorates the Panoz motorsports heritage and Panoz sports cars of the past 25 years. Panoz will build no more than 25 examples, intentionally limiting production to ensure they remain exclusive. The Esperante Spyder and Esperante Spyder GT are available for order. Prices are $179,120 and $204,750, respectively.

Desert Concorso Tickets are $65, membership in the exclusive Diamond Club starts at $300, and vehicle registration is $100.
