Configurator site is live for potential customers and enthusiasts to create their ideal NSX supercar
◾Online configurator is the first step in the NSX custom order process
Feb 25, 2016 - TORRANCE, Calif. -- The 2017 Acura NSX online configurator launched today at NSX.Acura.com, allowing future NSX owners and enthusiasts to virtually customize their new Acura NSX supercar. The launch of the online configurator coincides with the start of customer ordering at authorized NSX retailers across the country.
Once prospective owners have configured their NSX online, they can request a one-on-one consultation with an authorized NSX retailer as the first step in the ordering process. Customers and enthusiasts can also share their custom configured NSX via social media channels.
'The launch of the next-generation NSX configurator not only turns up the Acura NSX excitement another notch, but takes us one step closer to delivering the NSX to our first customers,' said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura. 'Customers and fans alike have been waiting for this moment, and now they are able to build the incredible new Acura NSX of their dreams.'
Due to overwhelming interest in the Acura VIP Driving Experience sweepstakes that launched during Super Bowl 50, a second sweepstakes has been created to provide one lucky winner the opportunity to join the driving event. Acura NSX fans who share their unique supercar on Twitter between Feb. 25-29 with the hashtag #DriveAcuraNSXContest will be entered to win a spot to join the Acura VIP Driving Experience, which includes driving the next-generation supercar.

About the Acura NSX
Created to bring a new sports experience to the supercar segment, the next-generation Acura NSX challenges conventional beliefs about supercars, with cutting-edge and world-first technologies. Much as the first generation NSX did a quarter century ago, the 2017 NSX breaks the mold through a first-of-its-kind Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive power unit, a multi-material body structure, advanced aerodynamics and a cockpit that supports performance driving on every level without sacrificing comfort. The 2017 Acura NSX is the only supercar designed, developed and manufactured in the U.S. with production exclusively at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio with domestic and globally sourced parts.
