2016 MX-5 IS ONLY VEHICLE TO TAKE HOME TWO AWARDS FROM 2016 AUTOBYTEL CAR AND TRUCK AWARDS

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata was recently named the winner of not one, but two prestigious 2016 Autobytel Car and Truck Awards. Mazda's lightweight roadster took home top honors as Autobytel Convertible of the Year and Autobytel Sports Car of the Year.

The MX-5, which has received numerous awards since it was redesigned for 2016, encompasses Mazda's full suite of SKYACTIV Technology and KODO—Soul of Motion design.

According to Autobytel, winners are chosen based on their 'excellent design, leading technology, top performance, safety, and value.'
