'Barrett-Jackson has been a pioneer in the hot rod and Resto-Mod market for over a decade,' said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. Highly anticipated truck-based Resto-Mods include a '67 Chevrolet C10 (preview) that was the 2018 Goodguys pick for best truck. Custom-built from top to bottom, this truck rides on Fox nitrogen shocks and is powered by a 383ci stroker engine with roller cam and roller rockers mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Another stunning custom C10, a 1969 model (preview), was hand-built by Discovery Channel's Diesel Brothers on Season Three over three episodes. Shaved and molded to perfection, this custom truck is powered by a twin-turbo Duramax diesel 6.6-liter race engine producing an estimated 800 to 1,000 horsepower. Additional truck-based Resto-Mods crossing the block in Scottsdale include: - '48 Chevrolet 5-Window Pickup (preview) – 6-year nut-and-bolt restoration with custom finishes throughout - '48 Diamond T 509H Slider Tow Truck (preview) – Equipped with 2000 International frame, Peterbilt sleeper - '48 International KB2 Pickup (preview) – Driven less than 100 miles since its 6.5-year complete rebuild - '56 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup (preview) – A laser-straight body with full custom interior features - '36 Ford Custom Pickup (preview) – Started as a 3-window coupe and transformed into a Hot Rod Red truck The 2019 Scottsdale Auction preview docket is now available to view online.
