BLENHEIM, Ontario (12 May 2020) – RM Sotheby's has added another powerhouse Ferrari to its upcoming Online Only: Driving into Summer auction, set for 21–29 May on rmsothebys.com. The time-based online sale will now feature more than 150 motor cars and a selection of memorabilia, opening for bidding at 1:00 pm ET on Thursday, 21 May with staggered closure on lots now extended to two days, beginning at 11:00 am ET on 28 and 29 May.

Representing RM Sotheby's first car auction specifically curated by its team of specialists for the Online Only platform, Driving into Summer will present a 2003 Ferrari Enzo, chassis no. 13303, in superb condition. Offered from just two California collector owners from new, the Enzo on offer is a spectacular example of Ferrari's next step in its hypercar evolution following the F50. The Enzo, aptly named for the marque's founder, also drew from Formula 1 design and futuristic technology cues on the heels of Ferrari's 2000 Drivers' and Manufacturers' Championship wins as well as the dawn of the Ferrari–Schumacher era.

Powered by the Tipo F140B V-12 engine developing 651 hp, the Enzo reaches 60 mph from standstill in just 3.3 seconds and boasts a top speed of 218 mph. One of just 400 examples ever built, the Enzo on offer was delivered new to California in 2003 and sparingly used and regularly serviced by its original owner until 2018. The car is offered at auction on behalf of its second California owner, with a mere 1,250 miles on the odometer and optioned with the very rare two-tone racing seats with red 3D cloth inserts. Carefully maintained, this is a fantastic Enzo in every regard, as stunning today as it was at the dawn of the new millennium (Est. $2,600,000 - $2,900,000).

'The Ferrari Enzo is a fantastic addition to our Driving into Summer auction, which has been specifically curated with cars best suited to the Online Only platform,' comments Gord Duff, Global Head of Auctions, RM Sotheby's. 'We have received enthusiastic interest from sellers and potential bidders for this sale, and we look forward to bringing a great group of cars to rmsothebys.com this month as we continue to showcase the platform and seek to best serve our clients during this time. While the lineup of Ferrari hypercars is certainly the most valuable and significant group to be offered in a dedicated online auction, there are cars for all tastes and budgets in the sale and we invite collectors around the world to check out the easy-to-use platform.'

Additional entries for Online Only: Driving into Summer span numerous segments of the market, from pre- and post-war American classics through to grand touring and sports cars of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, as well as high-performance supercars and modern classics. Each car offered in the Online Only auction will be presented with comprehensive photography and in most cases will be accompanied by condition reports completed by RM Sotheby's specialists as well as catalogue descriptions. Where available, additional information on each lot, such as history files, production certificates, restoration documentation, service invoices, owner's manuals, and accompanying parts can be viewed online, once logged in, by clicking the 'View Files' button on the individual lot page.

Bidder registration is currently open for Online Only: Driving into Summer and requires very simple steps to complete. RM Sotheby's Client Service team is ready to assist interested bidders with any part of the account creation or registration process. Additional information on 'How Bidding Works' will appear on each lot page once the lot is live and when clients are logged in as registered bidders.
