World's Largest Collector Car Auction Returns to Kissimmee, Florida, January 6-15Mecum Auctions to Offer 3,500 Classic and Collector Cars at Osceola Heritage Park

Following a record-setting $147 million in sales at Mecum Kissimmee 2021, Mecum Auctions will return to Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, for the 17th annual edition of the world's largest collector car auction this Jan. 6-15, featuring an estimated 3,500 vehicles, daily Road Art selections, the Mecum Midway of food, exhibitors and various live entertainment acts, the Dodge Thrill Ride, and, of course, the ceaseless high-energy Mecum auction action. Kissimmee 2022 will also mark the beginning of a multiyear partnership between Mecum Auctions and MotorTrend Group with Mecum's debut on MotorTrend+ and MotorTrend TV.

To date, nearly a dozen private collections have already been consigned for the annual auction event, together comprising nearly 200 vehicles with about 150 to be offered at no reserve. Among the wide-ranging selection is a 2016 Pagani Huayra consigned From The Jackie and Gary Runyon Collection of more than 30 vehicles and the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 'Gulf One' from The John Justo Collection. The ultra-rare Z06 is the most successful factory-backed production racing Corvette of the C2 era and bears one of only 14 regular-production Corvette serial numbers assigned specifically for competition.

Other Kissimmee auction headliners include the 1951 Bob Hirohata Mercury Custom built by Sam and George Barris, considered by many to be the most famous custom car of the classic era; a 1992 Ferrari F40 that's one of 22 produced in the model year and shows just 8,732 miles; a one-of-five 1965 Shelby Factory Stage III Cobra Dragonsnake that is the only Stage III factory-built customer version; a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertible that is one of 96 built as a factory 4-speed; and a 2018 Ford GT '67 Heritage Edition with just seven miles.

'Kissimmee has grown into the world's largest collector car auction and is recognized for its selection ranging from entry-level collectibles to multimillion-dollar elite consignments,' Vice President of Consignments Frank Mecum said. 'What started with 400 consignments has grown into an event that is now 10 days in length with over 3,000 cars to choose from, and we're looking forward to an even bigger and better Mecum Kissimmee this January.'
