SsangYong Rexton named '4x4 of the Year' at Scottish Car of the Year Awards

SsangYong's flagship Rexton has been voted 4x4 of the Year at the Scottish Car of the Year (SCOTY) awards ceremony. Regarded as a highlight of the automotive calendar across the UK and beyond, the hotly contested event took place at the Dalmahoy Hotel near Edinburgh last night.

The judging panel is made up of Scotland's leading motoring journalists and experts – representing a variety of major print, online and radio outlets. SCOTY judges, all members of the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers (ASMW), have been repeatedly impressed by the Rexton's winning combination of capability, build quality, space, refinement, comfort, excellent warranty and value for money.

ASMW president, Jack McKeown, said: 'When it comes to our 4x4 of the Year category, the winner needs to be able to cut the mustard off road.
