Citroën UK has added a new 'C-Series Edition' trim level across its popular C3, C3 Aircross, C4, ë-C4 Electric and New C5 Aircross vehicle ranges. Previously available only to C3 and C3 Aircross buyers – and formerly labelled 'C-Series' – 'C-Series Edition' is now a standard trim level across Citroën's core model ranges.
The 'C-Series Edition' trim has been tailored specifically for the UK market and is a further example of Citroën's 'Fair Pricing' commitment, offering transparent prices and convenient ways of buying a well-specified new car.
C3 'C-Series Edition'
The previous 'C-Series' quickly became the best-selling trim level in the C3 range. Buyers appreciated the model's value for money and generous equipment levels as standard. The new C3 'C-Series Edition' models come as standard with distinctive 16-inch 'Matrix' alloy wheels, dark-tinted rear windows, as well as a contrasting bi-tone roof in either black or white. As with all 'C-Series Edition' models, C3 'C-Series Edition' features a characteristic Anodised Bronze Colour Pack with bronze detailing around the front fog lights and Airbump® capsules, plus 'C-Series Edition' badging on the front doors.
C3 'C-Series Edition' models also feature electrically folding door mirrors, as well as rear parking sensors and a reversing camera. The Visibility Pack adds automatic headlights, automatic windscreen wipers and front fog lights. A seven-inch capacitive touchscreen features DAB digital radio, Bluetooth® functionality and comes standard with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto.
C3 'C-Series Edition' is available with either a 1.2-litre PureTech 83 petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, or a 1.2-litre PureTech 110 petrol powerplant with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Prices start at just £17,000 MRRP OTR.
C3 Aircross 'C-Series Edition'
C3 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' sits just below the 'Shine' trim level and comes as standard with Citroën's distinctive Anodised Bronze Colour Pack, on this occasion featuring a bronze-coloured skid plate insert at the front of the car and bronze door mirrors. C3 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' also features 16-inch 'X Cross' black alloy wheels, dark-tinted rear windows and comes complete with 3D 'C-Series Edition' badging on the front doors.
The interior of C3 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' boasts a leather-effect wrapped dashboard and a leather steering wheel, custom floor mats and 'Mica Grey' upholstery, offering a premium feel throughout. For added convenience, C3 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' comes standard with rear parking sensors, automatic ECO LED headlights and automatic windscreen wipers. Owners will also benefit from the built-in DAB digital radio that is accessible via the seven-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto are also offered as standard.
Available with an efficient and powerful 1.2-litre PureTech 110 petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, C3 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' is available from just £20,075 MRRP OTR.
The 'C-Series Edition' trim on C4 and ë-C4 Electric features subtle visual elements to make the cars stand out even more on the road. The Anodised Bronze Colour Pack adds bronze surrounds to the fog lights and on the Airbump® panels, with bronze 'C-Series Edition' badges on the wings. The all-electric ë-C4 'C-Series Edition' comes with 18-inch diamond-cut 'Crosslight' alloy wheels. As an important point of difference, petrol and Diesel versions feature 18-inch 'Aeroblade' bi-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels. All C4 and ë-C4 Electric 'C-Series Edition' models also benefit from dark-tinted rear windows and body-coloured bumpers and door handles.
Inside, C4 and ë-C4 Electric 'C-Series Edition' models come equipped with Citroën's quality HiFi system and a 10-inch touchscreen, equipped with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto, as well as DAB digital radio, Bluetooth® connectivity and Citroën Connect Nav with 'Real-Time Traffic' and speed camera updates. Owners of C4 and ë-C4 Electric 'C-Series Edition' models will also enjoy the comfort of the heated leather steering wheel and the heated front seats.
The ë-C4 Electric 'C-Series Edition' features a 50kWh battery connected to a 136hp (100kW) electric motor and is capable of up to 219 miles (WLTP) between charges. Supporting up to 100kW rapid charging, an 80% charge takes as little as 30 minutes.
C4 'C-Series Edition' is available with a choice of efficient petrol and Diesel engines. There are two petrol configurations to choose from – a 1.2-litre PureTech 130 petrol with a six-speed manual 'box, or a 1.2-litre PureTech 130 with eight-speed automatic transmission. Similarly, the two Diesels use Citroën's ultra-efficient 1.5-litre BlueHDi four-cylinder unit with either a six-speed manual (BlueHDi 110) or an eight-speed automatic (BlueHDi 130).
Pricing for the ë-C4 Electric 'C-Series Edition' starts from £30,495 MRRP OTR (after the current £1,500 Government Plug-in Car Grant), while the C4 'C-Series Edition' is available from £25,560 MRRP OTR.
New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition'
New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' tops the New C5 Aircross range and sits just above the 'Shine' trim level. Again, as it is specifically tailored for the UK market, it features a high-level specification with a distinctive look. New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' models feature the Anodised Bronze Colour Pack with bronze detailing on the front bumper and the front doors, while distinctive 'C-Series Edition' badging can be found on the wings. New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' models come as standard with distinctive 19-inch diamond-cut bi-tone 'Art' alloy wheels. For added style, all models also come with a black bi-tone roof that features an electrically operated opening panoramic glass sunroof.
Inside, New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' trim come with a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen equipped with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto, as well as Citroën Connect Nav satellite navigation. A wireless charging pad improves smartphone compatibility, while on-board comfort is boosted by features from the Citroën Advanced Comfort Programme. Next-generation Advanced Comfort Seats provide unrivalled support and comfort on the road. The seats feature high-density foam and a part-leather finish, while all models also feature Citroën's Advanced Comfort Suspension with progressive hydraulic cushions for a magic-carpet-like ride.
For added safety and comfort, New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' models also benefit from Citroën's Drive Assist Pack, which includes Active Safety Brake with video and radar assistance, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go. A motorised tailgate with hands-free access further adds to the comfort and convenience of the car.
New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' comes with an ultra-efficient Plug-in Hybrid powertrain, featuring a 1.6-litre PureTech 180 petrol engine combined with an 80kW electric motor and a 13.2kWh battery pack – meaning an electric-only range of 34 miles (WLTP).
New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' models are also available with a choice of efficient petrol and Diesel engines. Petrol models feature a 1.2-litre PureTech 130 engine and can be specified with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox, while Diesel models come with a 1.5-litre BlueHDi 130 four-cylinder power and the same choice of six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions.
New C5 Aircross 'C-Series Edition' is available from £29,765 MRRP OTR.
