RM Sotheby's Munich Sale At Motorworld Bringing Stunning Exotics To Market

RM Sotheby's is delighted to return to Munich for its second sale at Motorworld. Following on from last year's remarkable success, this year aims to follow with similar success, boasting another fine spread of incredible examples from the world's leading marques.

Leading this year's consignments to go under the hammer on 25 November is a 2004 Ferrari Enzo. Finished in the quintessential Enzo colours of Rosso Corsa with a Nero interior, this well-preserved example boasts just 19,600 kilometres. Powered by its matching-numbers 6.0-litre V-12 engine and Ferrari Classiche Certified, this ultimate homage to the late, great Enzo Ferrari is estimated to sell for between €3,000,000 - €3,500,000 EUR.

Few cars are as coveted as the 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider by Scaglietti, with the car on offer presented in striking Nocciola Metallizzato over Pelle Beige. Classiche Certified, this is arguably one of Ferrari's greatest open-top V-12 grand tourers and is made all the more special with its distinctive factory-original colour. Number 82 of the 121 Daytona Spyders ever built by the factory, this example underwent a full restoration in the 1990s (Estimate: €2,350,000 - €2,650,000 EUR).

A remarkable 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster 'Outlaw' will also be offered in Munich on 25 November. A striking 300 SL, tastefully customised in an 'Outlaw' style, this example has been subject to a €400,000 restoration by Lars Rombelsheim from 2016 to 2017. Upgrades included an upgrade to a ZF five-speed manual gearbox, high-performance radiator, and other modern components. With this example also retaining its matching-numbers engine block, it is estimated to sell for between €1,200,000 - €1,500,000 EUR. For a modern-day Mercedes-Benz classic, look no further than the 2016 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG G850 6×6 by Brabus, an extremely rare, custom-built, six-wheeled version of the Mercedes-AMG G-Wagen. The example offered has been tuned by Brabus, giving it just shy of 850 horsepower (Estimate: €600,000 - €800,000 EUR).

The 2021 Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign is a super rare car, being one of only 18 built; it is the rarest and most expensive GT-R variant ever produced, created to celebrate 50 years of the GT-R. Handcrafted by Italdesign in partnership with Nissan, this coachbuilt supercar is estimated to sell for between €950,000 - €1,150,000 EUR. The 2023 BMW 3.0 CSL on offer was also built to celebrate the M division's half-century, this example being one of just 50. At the time of launch, it was the most powerful straight-six BMW produced, with the power unit packing 560 horsepower. This example has just 33 kilometres on the clock and is estimated to sell for between €800,000 - €1,200,000 EUR.

A 1965 Aston Martin DB5 Vantage will also be offered in Munich, which boasts a special history of being the third left-hand-drive DB5 Vantage built and the first delivered in continental Europe, according to Aston Martin build records. Presented in its stunning, factory-correct colour combination of Aegean Blue over a Beige Connolly leather interior, this example has resided with its current owner since 2007 (Estimate: €750,000 - €850,000 EUR).

Also worthy of note is the incredible selection of Mercedes-Benzes that will be offered in Munich. This includes a 1963 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL 'Pagoda' Factory Development Car, which was an ex-Daimler-Benz AG Test Car and was ordered for Professor Fritz Nallinger (Estimate: €260,000 - €340,000 EUR). Also offered is one of 85 1954 Mercedes-Benz 220 Coupés (Estimate: €180,000 - €200,000 EUR) alongside a 1967 Mercedes-Benz 230 'AMG Conversion', which is believed to be among the first road-going Mercedes-Benzes to bear the AMG badge (Estimate: €120,000 - €160,000 EUR). This is rounded up by a 1995 Mercedes-Benz S 320 formerly owned by pop sensation Tina Turner, which is offered without reserve and estimated to sell for between €40,000 - €60,000 EUR.
