Isuzu UK proudly announces its continued partnership with Football Shirt Friday for the second consecutive year, renewing its commitment to support the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK in tackling bowel cancer. This year, the event is scheduled for the 26th of April, with Isuzu urging individuals to wear their favourite football shirts, share their photos on social media, and contribute £5 to the cause at https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/isuzu-fc.
Isuzu UK is rallying its employees and dealers to actively participate in the campaign, providing them with a dedicated Cancer Research UK giving page accessible to both internal staff and the general public. Every member of the Isuzu UK dealer network will also be encouraged to use the joint Isuzu giving page, amplifying the outreach and contribution potential. The unified effort of Isuzu HQ and the dealer network will be represented under the consumer-facing banner of Isuzu FC (Football Community), with national campaigns directed to the Isuzu FC super team page and local dealer initiatives linking to their fundraising pages. This year's campaign will enjoy celebrity support, with details to be announced shortly. In 2023, Isuzu, along with its dealers, raised an impressive £5,020.57, contributing to the overall success of Football Shirt Friday.
Stephanie Moore OBE, Founder of the Bobby Moore Fund, commented: 'The continued support from Isuzu UK and their network of dealers is truly heartening. Mortality rates for bowel cancer have fallen significantly since Bobby's death, but bowel cancer remains the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK, so there's still a long way to go. Together, we are making significant strides in tackling bowel cancer, and I am grateful for all our supporters and Isuzu's commitment to the cause.'
George Wallis, Head of Marketing at Isuzu UK, remarked: 'At Isuzu, we believe in using our platform to make a positive impact. Joining hands with Football Shirt Friday and the Bobby Moore Fund aligns with our values, and we are determined to surpass last year's achievements for a cause that touches the lives of so many.'
