Trio of Honda Civic, Accord and CR-V threepeat as Car and Driver 10Best Winners; Honda extends lead as winningest brand in the award's history• Honda claims more 2025 Car and Driver 10Best Awards than any other brand

•The 95 total trophies Honda has amassed since the awards inception are the most of any brand

•Honda Accord wins for a record 39th time, a streak of 27 consecutive years

•Full Honda Civic lineup (Sedan, Hatchback, Si and Type R) win for 3rd year in a row - with particular praise for the new Hybrid variant

•Honda CR-V and CR-V hybrid claim 3rd consecutive 10Best Trucks and SUVs award

Honda has earned three coveted 2025 Car and Driver 10Best awards for the third year in a row, more than any other brand. The editors of Car and Driver have honored the Honda Civic and Accord with 10Best Cars awards and the Honda CR-V with a 10Best Trucks and SUVs award.

Now with 95 total awards, Honda has won more Car and Driver trophies than any other brand in the over 40-year history of the award. At least one Honda model has earned a spot on the annual 10Best list since the award's inception in 1983.

'Winning three prestigious Car and Driver 10Best awards for the third year in a row speaks to the passion our Honda engineers and production associates pour into these products for our customers,' said Jessika Laudermilk, assistant vice president of Honda Auto Sales. 'We're pleased that electrifying Civic, Accord and CR-V has been received so well because it is a promising sign as we head into the electrified future.'

The Honda Accord is America's best-selling car over the last five decades1 and, by a wide margin, the most awarded vehicle in Car and Driver 10Best history. Accord has made the prestigious list an incredible 39 times, including the last 27 years in a row. This is the 11th 10Best award for Civic and the sixth win for CR-V.

The fuel efficient and fun-to-drive Civic hybrid, Accord hybrid and CR-V hybrid are a key step in the Honda electrification strategy. Currently, over 50% of Accord and CR-V sales are hybrid-electric trims, and Civic hybrid models ultimately will make up 40% of Civic sales. All three vehicles are powered by an award-winning advanced Honda two-motor hybrid system that maximizes efficiency while supporting dynamic performance and a more comfortable driving experience. 'The new hybrid model maintains the handling and practicality all Civics enjoy, boasts the best fuel economy numbers in the lineup, and it's as quick as the performance-oriented Si,' summarized Tony Quiroga, Editor-in-Chief of Car and Driver.

About the Car and Driver 10Best List

To compete in 10Best, which has been the standard of excellence for more than 40 years, vehicles must be all-new vehicles, 2024 10Best winners, vehicles that were not available for the 2024 competition, and those with significant updates. All must fall under the base price cap of $110,000 and be on sale no later than January 31, 2024. After two weeks of driving more than 80 new cars, trucks and SUVs that meet those criteria, Car and Driver editors assign each vehicle a score of zero to 100. The votes are tallied and averaged to arrive at the 10Best of 2025.
