• 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz recognized by Autotrader for its spaciousness, versatility, and retro-inspired design
• The Volkswagen ID.4 and Golf GTI were previously recognized on Autotrader's Best New Cars list
Reston, VA — Volkswagen of America, Inc. today announced that Autotrader has named the 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz to its list of Best New Cars of 2025. The list is comprised of ten vehicles selected from new and refreshed 2025 and early 2026 models.
'The ID. Buzz isn't just a throwback; it's a forward leap. This inclusion on Autotrader's 2025 list proves we've nailed the balance,' said Andrew Savvas, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, North American Region. 'The ID. Buzz provides that emotional connection, that spark of joy when you see it, and then the realization it's a seriously capable EV. We've tapped into something special – a vehicle that resonates on a deeper level while still delivering on the practical front.'
'The VW ID. Buzz is about more than just its jaw-dropping design,' said Autotrader Editor Eric Brandt. 'To me, it's exciting because the minivan segment finally has an EV. Although this will likely be driven as a fashion statement more than a family hauler, it's still good to see my favorite segment get an all-electric option.'
Available in three trims—Pro S, Pro S Plus, and a launch-only 1st Edition—the ID. Buzz offers flexibility with rear-wheel-drive and 4Motion® all-wheel-drive configurations. Rear-wheel-drive variants deliver 282 horsepower with an EPA-estimated range of 234 miles, while 4Motion models offer 335 horsepower and an EPA-estimated range of 231 miles. With three rows of seats accommodating up to seven passengers and ample cargo space, the ID. Buzz combines practicality and performance.
Blending iconic charm with modern innovation, the ID. Buzz stands out as a customizable electric vehicle designed to turn heads. The ID. Buzz's distinctive exterior combines retro design cues, such as an oversized VW logo and short overhangs, with contemporary details such as vibrant color options, offering customers a chance to personalize their ride. Standard features include a 12.9-inch infotainment display, a 30-color ambient lighting system, IQ.DRIVE® driver assistance technology, and Park Assist Plus with Memory Parking. Pricing starts at $59,995 MSRP. Destination fee for all ID. Buzz models is $1,550.
