1951 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500

Alfa Romeo introduced the 6C 2500 Series in 1937, using a bored-out version of the 2300 engine and chassis with a wheelbase of 270, 300, and 325 cm. The Super Sport (SS) had the highest rate of tune using three carburetors and the shortest chassis. Only 66 were produced from 1939 to 1943.

Following WWII, an additional 383 cars were built from 1947 to 1951. Other than minor refinements, the post-war cars were mechanically unchanged. The coachbuilders, primarily Touring and Pinin Farina provided a newer look for the cars.
