2006 Red Bull RB2

The Red Bull Racing RB2 was designed by mark Smith and Rob Taylor and used during the 2006 Formula One Season. The team's drivers were David Coulthard and Christian Klien, who had both driven for the team in its debut year - 2005. After the Italian Grand Prix, Klien was replaced by Robert Doornbos.

The RB2 was powered by a Ferrari Type 056 V8 engine that proved to have issues, especially with cooling. Part way through the season, the team abandoned development of the RB2 to allow Chief Designer Adrian Newey concentrate on their 2007 challenger.

The team would finish 7th in the Constructors Championship after having earned 16 points.
