2001 Mazda Miata

For over two decades, Mazda has been building the Miata. During that time, it has built Special Edition versions nearly every year. During the early years, the Special Edition versions often included special colors or interior materials. Over town, however, they became more elaborate in how they differed from the base Miata. For 2001, a British Racing Green Special Edition model was offered, with 3,000 examples built. Along with the color, it was given a Nardi steering wheel, leather interior, six-speed manual transmission, and polished wheels. The SE models had a price that was $4,800 above the base Miata and $1,700 over the Miata LS.
