1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

The Chevrolet Grand Sport was introduced in 1996 to commemorate the end of the C4 design. The name 'Grand Sport' was a tribute to the Grand Sport of 1963. Production was limited to only a thousand and all were given distinctive identification numbers. Of the 1000 produced 810 were coupes and 190 were convertibles. The rear fender flares and oversized 315 rear tires were Coupe exclusive.

Under the bonnet was an LT4 engine that produced a respectable 330 horsepower and 340 foot-pounds of torque. There was a Grand Sport emblem on the engine's throttle body. There was only one color offered and that was Admiral Blue with a white center stripe. Black five-spoke wheels could be found at all four corners
