Mitsubishi Motors North America Names Alex Fedorak as New Public Relations Manager

Cypress, California, April 28, 2014 – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today announced that automotive industry public relations veteran Alex Fedorak has been hired as the new Public Relations Manager for the company effective immediately.

'We are very pleased to have Alex join Mitsubishi Motors to oversee our public relations efforts,' said MMNA Executive Vice President Don Swearingen. 'His venerable and diverse background in automotive public relations will serve the company well as we continue to increase vehicle sales across our current product line as well as prepare to launch innovative new vehicle models.'

Mitsubishi Motors' new Public Relations Manager will be reporting directly to Director, Marketing Francine Harsini, along with EVP Don Swearingen.

Fedorak brings a wealth of experience with over three decades in international and domestic automotive brand industry communications, having worked directly for automobile manufacturers as well as with leading public relations agencies on their automotive accounts.

Fedorak's distinguished career began with a position as a national technical training manager in the public relations department of an auto manufacturer back in 1984.

Through the years, he has served in various key roles including leading the public relations departments in such varying capacities as the director overseeing an auto manufacturer's entire public relations/corporate communications department as well as serving as a consultant with major automobile manufacturers.

'I'm delighted to be joining the Mitsubishi Motors team at this important time and I look forward to working with them as the brand brings technologically innovative new products including the upcoming Outlander PHEV plug-in hybrid electric vehicle to the U.S. market,' remarked Alex on his new position with the Japanese auto manufacturer.

In addition to his expansive automotive public relations/corporate communications experience, Fedorak brings a unique perspective and rich knowledge in automotive-related technology as he is a former fully-certified National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) automobile service and repair technician.
