1971 Lola T202 Navigation
The British Lola Cars International Ltd. built race cars from 1958 through 2012. It was founded by Eric Broadley in Huntingdon, England, and quickly became one of the top chassis suppliers in the 1960s, build racers for series such as Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3, and Formula Junior. The Lola T202 chassis was built in 1970 and 1971 for Formula Ford racing, an entry-level class of racing using single-seater, open-wheel formula cars. The series began in the early 1960s as an inexpensive training tool for amateur drivers to gain experience before entering other series. All of the cars were built to similar mechanical specifications ensuring the drivers were on equal ground.
