1960 Bentley S2 Continental Navigation
Bentley replaced their six-cylinder engine in the autumn of 1959 with an all-aluminum 6320cc V-8. It was smooth, quiet, and well-engineered. It had hydraulic tappets, steel wet cylinder liners, along with modified braking and lubrication system, power steering, and a four-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment. Air conditioning was optional and vehicles fitted with this feature were painted either off-white or silver.
