The 1994 Jaguar XJ-Sedan consisted of the base XJ6 listed at $56,320 and the upmarket Vanden Plas model with its price of $64,420. Both of these models were joined by the XJ12. The XJ6 was powered by a dual-overhead cam six-cylinder (24 valve) engine displacing 243 cubic-inches and offering 245 horsepower. The XJ12 had an overhead cam twelve cylinder engine displacing 243 CID and producing 313 BHP.Standard equipment on the base model included power front bucket seats, leather seat facings, automatic climate control, heated power mirrors, heated door locks and windshield washer nozzles, adjustable steering wheels, remote fuel door and decklid release, AM/FM stereo with cassette player, rear defogger, power windows and door locks, map light, console with storage, and a folding rear armrest.

Vanden Plas models added headlight washers with heated nozzles, a limited-slip differential, heated front seats, folding burl walnut picnic tables, leather-covered seatbacks, rear-armrest storage, fog lamps, rear reading lights, headlight washers with heated nozzles, and foot-well rugs.
