Triple Victory For Aston Martin At The 2018 Motorklassik Awards
March 20, 2018 by Aston Martin20 March 2018, Frankfurt/Essen: Aston Martin has scooped three prizes at the 2018 MotorKlassik Awards, voted by over 22,000 readers of the prestigious German automotive magazine MotorKlassik. A trio of the British luxury carmaker's iconic models – namely the Aston Martin DB11, the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato and the classic Aston Martin DB5 – were singled out for awards. The Aston Martin DB11 continues its run of international awards, winning the 'Classic car of tomorrow – coupes' category. The DB5 was awarded the 'Classic car of the 1960s' while the Vanquish Zagato was voted 'Classic car of tomorrow – luxury class'. The magazine's award ceremony took place in Essen. Receiving the award on behalf of Aston Martin, Paul Spires, Managing Director Aston Martin Works, said: 'Aston Martin is dedicated to building the most beautiful cars in the world. The MotorKlassik Awards for the legendary DB5, the iconic Vanquish Zagato and the new DB11 underline Aston Martin's unique and timeless design language.
