History
The Lancia Artena was produced from 1931 through 1936, and from 1940 through 1942. The first series was produced from 1931 through 1932, with a total of 1500 examples produced. The second series was produced until 1933, with slightly more than 1500 examples produced. The third series was produced until 1936, with 2040 examples created. The final series was produced from 1940 through 1942 with most of these 507 examples being ambulances and other body styles suitable for the wartime effort.
The Artena 2-liter V4 engine produced 54 bhp and gave the car a top speed of around 70 mph. The first series had a platform length of 170 inches. From 1933 through 1936, the platform sizes measured 172 and 180 inches in length. The final series had a 195-inch length platform.
