The Jewett was a popularly-priced automobile named for the president of the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company, which also produced the high-priced Paige automobile. The Jewett was sold in the Paige dealerships.
A variety of body styles - both open and closed - were available on a 112-inch wheelbase chassis. Power was from a Continental six-cylinder, 50 horsepower engine.
The Jewett was in production from 1922 until January 1927, when it was discontinued and renamed the Paige 6-45.
The current owner of this Jewett originally owned the car in the 1970's and sold it to another Ohio collector. He re-acquired it many years later and is now enjoying it 'the second time around.'
