1977 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Classic Navigation
For 1977, the Chevelle was available as the Malibu and Malibu Classic. They came as a two-door coupe, 4-door sedan, and station wagon. The Laguna coupe and Malibu Classic Estate wagon were no longer available. In the front was a new grille accompanied by six-section taillamps. The Classics had stacked rectangular headlamps while the Malibus had single round ones. The standard engine was a 250 cubic-inch six. The Malibu Classis wagon came standard with a 350 V8 with four-barrel carburetion. The station wagons had a standard 305 cubic-inch unit. A three speed manual gearbox was standard on the six-cylinder models except the Malibu Classic sedan. All others had a Turbo Hydra-Matic.Standard equipment included a heater, defroster, carpeting, lighter, and fiberglass-belted radial tires.
