1995 Pontiac Firebird Navigation
The 1995 Pontiac Firebird was available as either a coupe or convertible, in either base, Formula or Trans Am series. New this year was traction control on the V8 engines, and three new exterior colors - blue green chameleon, bright silver metallic, and medium dark purple metallic. Inside, there were two new leather interior colors including Bright Red and Bright White. The bright red could be purchased on all models while the Bright White was available only on the convertible.

Auction entries : 1Standard features included soft fascia-type bumpers, black right rear antenna, tinted glass, sport mirrors, dual front airbags, Delco ETR AM/FM stereo radio with auto-reverse cassette, clock, Delco theft lock, controlled-cycle windshield wipers, and reclining front seats. In the back, the seats were able to be folded. Other standard features included tilt-wheel adjustable steering column, Pass-Key II theft deterrent system, four-wheel anti-lock braking system, low oil level monitor and warning, GM Computer Command Control, stainless steel exhaust system, and brake/transmission shift interlock on automatic gearboxes. Exclusive standard features on the convertible included cruise control, electric rear window defogger, power automatic door locks, remote keyless entry, and power windows with 'express-down' feature. The base engine was an overhead valve V-6 3.4-liter unit rated at 160 horsepower. Formula and Trans Am models had an overhead valve V8 that displaced 5.7 liters and offered 275 horsepower. It had cast iron block, aluminum heads, and aluminum intake manifolds.
ConvertibleIn total, Pontiac produced 47,023 Firebird coupes and 3,963 convertibles.

The Pontiac Firebird
Some refer to this as the coke bottle years, due to its body style. The bumpers were designed into the front end and the rear had slit taillights. Until 1969, a two-door hardtop and a convertible were only available. 1967 This marks the year Pontiac creates the Firebird, to be in competition with the Camaro.
