1908 National Model K Navigation

1908 was the first year of the development of National's 40 horsepower 460 cubic-inch engine that evolved to nearly 80 horsepower 500 cubic inches in the cars which went on to win at Indianapolis. Unique to this car's engine is the cylinders are individually cast as opposed to the later and more common practice of casting in pairs. This is the only known car to have this engine configuration.
