Infiniti announces U.S. pricing for 2016 QX80

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Infiniti today announced Ú.S. pricing for the 2016 Infiniti QX80, which is on sale now at Infiniti retailers nationwide. Following an extensive exterior redesign just last year, the QX80 adds Infiniti's first Signature Edition for the 2016 model year. Also for 2016, the Hermosa Blue exterior color is added to the QX80 AWD Limited's color palette.
The Signature Edition, includes the full content of the Driver Assistance and Split Bench packages, along with exclusive Saddle Tan high-contrast interior, bodyside moldings and chrome mirror caps. The Signature Edition has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)* of just $1,000 over a base QX80, reflecting a $2,460 value over the combined content value of $3,460. Availability of the Special Edition is limited to just 1,000 units.

About the 2016 Infiniti QX80
All 2016 Infiniti QX80 models continue to offer its legendary combination of power, strength and style – capable of transporting up to eight adults and their belongings with spacious elegance. Its standard 400-horsepower 5.6-liter V8 and 7-speed automatic transmission are rugged enough to handle tasks such as towing boats or trailers (8,500-pound towing capacity, when properly equipped), while being equally at home transporting friends and family for a night on the town.

The QX80's exterior design features a powerful frontend appearance highlighted by a large upper and lower grilles, front fascia with LED high/low beam headlights, LED turn signals, LED fog lights, and a body-colored bumper with flush-mounted sonar sensors.

The QX80 AWD Limited features dark chrome 22-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, dark chrome interior trim, stainless steel running board caps with rubber grips, under running board welcome lighting, darkened headlight inner lens, darkened taillight inner lens, dark chrome A-pillar covers and three unique exterior colors – Imperial Black, Mocha Almond and Dakar Bronze.

The QX80's interior features two interior color atmospheres – Wheat or Graphite leather-appointed seating, along with two interior finisher colors. The QX80 AWD Limited's unique interior includes rich semi-aniline Truffle Brown leather appointments with a unique quilted pattern, open pore matte finish ash wood trim, Últrasuede® headliner and pillars, leather-covered grab handles and speaker grilles, unique floor and trunk mats and unique silver switchgear on the center stack.

As expected from Infiniti, the 2016 QX80 offers a range of advanced safety and driving technologies, including Forward Emergency Braking and Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW), Backup Collision Intervention (BCI), Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Distance Control Assist (DCA).

Infiniti QX80 rated most appealing Large Premium SUV in 2015 JD Power U.S. APEAL Study

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The 2015 Infiniti QX80 has been named the highest ranked Large Premium SÚV in the annual JD Power Ú.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM. The 2015 Infiniti Q70 ranked third in the Midsize Premium Car category. The study asks owners to evaluate their vehicles across 77 attributes, which are then combined into an overall APEAL Index score measured on a 1,000-point scale. The QX80 had a 2015 score of 877 – an improvement of 23 points over 2014 – to lead its segment. The Q70 premium sedan had a 2015 score of 873 points.
