Volvo Extends Amazon Prime Now Test Drive Programme To Second London Weekend

One hundred test drives were completed during the London launch weekend of 9 and 10 June, with 95% of drivers rating the experience as 'excellent'. In May 2018, Volvo was the UK's first car maker to announce its partnership with Amazon to offer the Prime Now test drive to drivers, enabling them to book a time that works for them, with the car delivered to their home or workplace by a trained expert. Jon Wakefield, Managing Director of Volvo Car UK, said: 'The Prime Now test drive weekend in London was incredibly well received, with customers welcoming the fact the V40 was delivered to them to fit in with their busy schedules. 'This hassle-free test drive approach certainly caught their imagination, and we are pleased to be able to extend it in London for a second weekend,' he added. Drivers in London will be able to undertake their 45-minute test drives on Saturday 30 June and Sunday 1 July. Customers simply enter their postcode on the Amazon Prime Now Test Drive website, select their location and choose an available time slot. A fully trained operative will then bring the car straight to their door, enabling customers to put the V40 through its paces on roads familiar to them. Those who wish to purchase a car will then be directed to their nearest Volvo retailer.
