1991 Pontiac Grand Prix

The 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix received several changes to its model range, including the Grand Prix GTP that replaced the Grand Prix Turbo Car. A new SE Coupe sport appearance package was offered, as well as a new Aero Performance package. Trim levels included the base LE, SE, GT, and STE. The standard engine was a 16-vale, dual overhead cam, four-cylinder unit displacing 2.3-liters and offering 160 horsepower. A 3.1-liter six-cylinder was standard in the STE and GT, and optional in the LE and SE. A 3.4-liter V6 with 210 horsepower was standard on the GTP and optional on all the other trim levels except the LE. The engine came equipped with a four-speed electronic automatic transmission which was only fitted to this engine. The other engines received either a five-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmission.

The SE trim level was available as either a Sedan or a Coupe. They received nicer interior and exterior trims. The GT Coupe a Y99 Rally Tuned suspension, 16-inch cast-aluminum wheels, Eagle GT +4 tires, clock and steering wheel controls, six-speaker sound system, AM/FM cassette stereo with equalizer, power windows, power door locks, power driver's seat, and front bucket seats with power articulated supports.
