Advanced safety and security, connectivity and driving aid featuresThe 2019 Rogue has a number of available connected technology and smartphone integration features. New for 2019 is the innovative Rear Door Alert3 (RDA) system, which can help remind customers of items that may be forgotten in the rear seat – valuables, dry cleaning, groceries and more. The RDA system was developed by a pair of Nissan engineers and mothers. It can help remind Nissan owners to check the rear seat by using a series of distinctive honks as the driver is walking away from the vehicle. The audio alerts distinguish the Nissan RDA from other systems in the marketplace. If the system detects that a rear door was opened/closed prior to a trip, but then was not re-opened again after the trip was completed, given the vehicle was put in park and the ignition cycled off, the system responds with a series of notifications, starting with a display in the instrument panel and progressing to subtle but distinctive chirps of the horn. All 2019 Rogue models also include Every NissanConnectSM featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, with a 7.0-inch color touch-screen display. Available as part of the Premium Package and Sun and Sound Touring Package for Rogue SV models is the NissanConnect with Navigand ation system, featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, Nissan Voice Recognition for navigation and audio, SiriusXM® Travel Link® and Traffic (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately).Rogue SL models offer standard NissanConnect with Navigation and Services powered by SiriusXM® (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.Standard Rogue Safety Shield technologies include Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection and radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). Rear Automatic Braking (RAB) is added for 2019 to SV and SL grades.
Advanced ProPILOT Assist
In 2018, Rogue became the first of two Nissan vehicles (along with Nissan LEAF) to offer the new ProPILOT Assist1 system, which can ease driver workload by reducing the amount of driver acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions. To activate the system, the driver simply pushes the blue ProPILOT Assist1 ON button, which is integrated into the right-side steering wheel spoke. Step two is to set the Intelligent Cruise Control when the desired speed is reached, as with a normal advanced cruise control system.
Standard 170-horsepower 2.5-liter engine

All 2019 Rogue models are equipped with a responsive 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Intelligent AWD initially delivers power to both front and rear wheels for improved grip. Once the vehicle is up to speed, the system sends all of the power up front (100:0 ratio), resulting in higher efficiency. In slick conditions and tight corners, Intelligent AWD automatically transfers the optimal amount of power from front to rear, up to a mix of 50:50 distribution ratio.A range of well-equipped Rogue modelsThe 2019 Nissan Rogue comes in three well-equipped models – S, SV and SL, each in a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
