The world was still recovering from the effects of World War, and for Chevrolet in 1947, little changed over the prior years. The models were basically the same as the 1946 year, except for minor changes. The radiator grill became softer. A three-speed manual gearbox was mated to a six-cylinder engine that displaced 216.5 cubic-inches and produced 90 horsepower. All models rested on a 116-inch wheelbase and measured 197.75-inch wheelbase.
