2000 Arrows A21

The Arrows A21 raced in Formula One competition during the 2000 season. The engine was a ten-cylinder, three-liter unit supplied by Supertec. The gearbox was a six-speed Arrows/Xtrac carbon-fibre semi-automatic unit. Most of the competition were using seven gears at the time. The car was designed by Mike Coughlan and Eghbal Hamidy and driven by Spaniard Pedro de la Rosa and Dutchman Jos Verstappen. The car was finished black-and-orange livery and its premier sponsor was 'Orange', a mobile network operator and internet service provider.

The car was driven in seventeen of the races and proved to be fast but reliability issues plagued the car most of the season. Ferrari and McLaren proved to be the fastest of the season and left the competition struggling to keep pace. Arrows finished the season in seventh place in the Constructor's Championship after scoring seven points.
