High Energy Bidder Battles and World Record Sales Fuel $10.2 Million Result at Russo and Steele's 2015 Monterey Auction Event

Scottsdale, Arizona (August 18, 2015) – After an incredible week of camaraderie and cars by the waterfront at Fisherman's Wharf in beautiful downtown Monterey, Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auctions is now busy closing out our fifteenth anniversary Monterey auction celebration. We would like to thank all of our wonderful buyers, consignors, friends, family, sponsors and vendors for making the event so special for us all.

To briefly recap, Russo and Steele's 2015 Monterey auction rang up total sales of $10,188,258.00, including a world record setting result for a 1966 Shelby GT350 at $313,500 and several very impressive world record results on high performance Porsche models, which only served to continue the momentum set in this year's Scottsdale and Newport Beach events and further solidifies Russo and Steele's ever expanding reputation as the place to sell the best from the German sporting legend.

With exceptional pre auction interest, sweeping coverage, record crowds and white hot, rapid fire bidding action on the block reaching an all-time high, our world championship auction staff proved they are the hardest working in the business, by once again egging on several intense exchanges: often times long after the reserve had been pulled.
