For the month of December, Land Rover sales hit its highest monthly sales ever with 8,441 units sold, up 47 percent from 5,754 units sold in December 2014. The Range Rover hit 1,835 units in December; increasing 24 percent from 1,482 units sold in December 2014.The Range Rover Sport hit 2,246 units in December, increasing 10 percent from 2,036 units sold in December 2014. For the full year 2015, Land Rover brand U.S. sales reached a new all-time high of 70,582 units, an increase of 37 percent and surpassing last year's sales of 51,465 units. The Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque established new U.S. annual sales records. Full year sales were led by the brand volume leader Range Rover Sport with 21,459 sales up 20 percent from 17,897 units in 2014. For the full year 2015, the Discovery Sport which went on sale in the spring of 2015, sold 7,611 units. Land Rover's 2015 model year line-up features five models: The 240-hp turbocharged 2.0 liter Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque; the LR4 powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 engine; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, available with either a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 or 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrain. For 16 MY, Land Rover will add two special editions to the Range Rover Sport line up, the Range Rover Sport HST, available in either a 3.0L Supercharged V6 380hp engine or a 5.0L Supercharged V8 510hp engine with added SVR aero package and the 550-hp Range Rover Sport SVR. September marked the start of sales in North America for the 2016 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport featuring a new 3.0L turbocharged V6 diesel engine. Jaguar For the month of December, Jaguar sales hit 1,197 units, down 29 percent from 1,683 units in December 2014. With 559 units sold, the Jaguar XF had its best retail month since March as the new generation model began to reach the market. For the full year 2015, Jaguar is down 8 percent, due to run down on recently introduced new and refreshed models. In 2016, Jaguar will introduce two new models - the Jaguar XE sports sedan and F-PACE performance SUV. For the full year, Jaguar F-TYPE sales hit 4.629 sales, up 13 percent from 4,112 units in 2014. The 2015 Jaguar line-up features four models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configuration, a 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XJR model. The Jaguar XF sports sedan comes in a number of variations: 240-hp turbocharged four cylinder engine, a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configurations, a 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8, a 510-hp Supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XFR and a 550-hp Supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XFR-S. In its final year, the XK coupe and convertible grand touring models are powered by either a 385-hp 5.0 liter V8 or a 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XKR. Jaguar also offers the Jaguar XKR-S coupe and convertible with a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8. The 16 MY Jaguar F-TYPE is newly available with options of all-wheel drive and a manual transmission. The new F-TYPE line-up, the F-TYPE Coupe and Convertible, are powered by either a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6, a 380-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in the F-TYPE S or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the F-TYPE R. Starting with the new 2016 model year vehicles, the Jaguar brand will have an improved competitive value position via steps such as increased standard equipment or new lower MSRP choices by model. Also starting in model year 2016, all Jaguar models will come standard with Jaguar EliteCare, an ownership package with class-leading five-years or 60,000-mile warranty, complimentary scheduled maintenance coverage, roadside assistance and Jaguar InControl® Protect & RemoteTM2.Beginning in the spring of 2016, the Jaguar brand value story further transforms with two new entry luxury vehicles, the 2017 Jaguar XE compact luxury sedan, starting at $34,9001, and the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE compact luxury SUV, starting at $40,9901. 1 All prices shown are Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price.
