MAZDA CX-9 RECEIVES HISPANIC MOTOR PRESS AWARD FOR BEST SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE
December 8, 2016 by MazdaThe Hispanic Motor Press has awarded Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) with a best-in-segment award for 2017, recognizing the Mazda CX-9 with top honors in the Sport Utility Vehicle category. The vehicle winners of the seventh-annual awards were assessed and selected based on being the best overall value with the Hispanic family in mind. The CX-9 was evaluated on safety, pricing, fuel economy, design and overall passenger comfort. Jury Director Ricardo Rodriguez-Long brought together a group of judges including Hispanic auto journalists and other Hispanic media leaders that reviewed and drove the vehicles and then selected the winners in each category. The midsize, three-row crossover SUV comes with a more responsive powertrain and an elevated application of the KODO—Soul of Motion design language. Priced from $31,5201, the 2016 CX-9 offers features at each trim level that can satisfy any family lifestyle and provide a premium driving experience that only Mazda can deliver.
