Volvo Cars At The Geneva Motor Show 2017
February 28, 2017 by VolvoThe new Volvo XC60 will be revealed at Volvo Cars' press conference at 10:45 CET (09:45 GMT) on Tuesday 7 March, in Hall 6 (stand 6051) at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Volvo's latest new model will be shown for the first time globally on the Volvo stand. Featuring three advanced new driver-assistance features, the new XC60 will be one of the safest cars on the road when it replaces Volvo's current best-selling model. In 2016, Volvo achieved a third consecutive year of record global sales, with 534,322 cars sold (up 6.2% on 2015's figure). A large part of this success was a strong performance from Volvo Car UK, which marked its highest sales volumes in a quarter of a century, with 46,696 cars sold (a 7% increase on 2015). With challenging sales targets of 800,000 globally, and 60,000 in the UK by 2020, the coming months and years will see a continuation of the complete renewal of Volvo's product portfolio.
