The Prototype Ferrari F50, Bette Davis's 1937 Packard Twelve 1508 Convertible Sedan and Hockey Hall of Fame member Ed Belfour's 1971 Plymouth Cuda 440 6-Pack Convertible star at Worldwide's annual Scottsdale Auction

Auburn, Indiana. December 12th, 2019. Worldwide has confirmed that among the exciting consignments for its annual Scottsdale Auction out in Arizona this January is a celebrated 1995 Ferrari F50 Berlinetta Prototipo with storied and documented provenance, the Geneva and Tokyo Motor Show Car used by the Italian automaker for global promotion. 'This is a thrilling opportunity to own the very first production-spec Ferrari F50, the prototype car test driven by Formula One icons Niki Lauda, Gerhard Berger and Jean Alesi, as well as Dario Benuzzi, Ferrari's own legendary test driver,' said Rod Egan, Principal and Auctioneer. 'This is without argument, the most significant road going F50 in existence.' Also set to cross the block on January 15th is the 1937 Packard Twelve 1508 'Bette Davis' Convertible Sedan, offered without reserve alongside a selection of other significant pre-war automobiles from The Chuck Morgan Estate Collection. Purchased new by Warner Bros. Jack Warner as a gift for actress Bette Davis, the car was shown at The Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance and is a CCCA award winner with known ownership from new.

Another car with celebrity provenance slated for this year's sale is an impeccably documented, numbers-matching 1971 Plymouth Cuda 440 6-Pack Convertible, bought as a signing celebration by Hockey Hall of Fame member, Stanley Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist Ed Belfour in 1987, his rookie year as a pro. Ed Belfour celebrated another milestone career moment in October this year when his company Belfour Spirits launched its ultra-premium whiskey brand and family of products, The Spirit of Champions™, and guests at the auction's Belfour Spirits sponsored VIP Bidder Preview Reception & Whiskey Tasting will get an exclusive opportunity to sample the new product and meet the unswerving champion first hand. The Scottsdale Auction is scheduled for 5pm on January 15th, with the VIP preview from 3-5pm that same day.

Included in the line-up of important pre-war cars offered for sale without reserve from The Chuck Morgan Estate Collection is an exceptional ACD certified and CCCA award winning 1930 Duesenberg Model J Willoughby Sedan with excellent history and ownership, shown at Pebble Beach, and a wonderfully restored 1936 Auburn 851 SC Boattail Speedster, another ACD Certified CCCA Senior Award winner. The collection also features a very rare 1932 Cadillac 355B Roadster, one of as few as two known to exist, an outstandingly restored multiple award winning 1934 Packard 1104 Super Eight Sport Phaeton and a 1939 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood Convertible Coupe, 1 of just 27 built and only five surviving, another multiple Concours award winner.
