BLENHEIM, Ontario (27 February 2020) – RM Sotheby's has revealed additional feature cars to be offered from the Elkhart Collection on 1-2 May in Elkhart, Indiana. This exceptional private collection features 230 motor cars, 30 motorcycles, trucks, trailers, and a wide selection of memorabilia and equipment, offered almost entirely without reserve.

In addition to those cars already revealed in January, RM Sotheby's has added a diverse group of cars to rmsothebys.com, further illustrating the breadth and depth of the single-owner collection. Highlights amongst the group cover a wide range of time periods, marques, and categories across the collector car market:

Pre-war Classics

• 1924 Bentley 3-41/2-Litre Four-Seater with coachwork in the Style of Vanden Plas, a desirable early 3-Litre model upgraded to 41/2-Litre for power touring. Offered alongside its original engine and documented by historic Dr. Clare Hay, this is an ideal 'W.O.' Bentley to drive and enjoy (Est. $300,000 - $400,000):

• 1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Shooting Brake, a well-documented early car with correct, beautifully built shooting brake coachwork, equipped with its original engine and formerly owned by W.F. Player and Lord Doune, the Earl of Moray (Est. $120,000 - $160,000); and,

• 1936 White Model 706 Glacier National Park Tour Bus, a restored icon of mid-century American vacations designed by the legendary Alexis de Sakhnoffsky (Est. $100,000 - $150,000).

• 1952 Ferrari 225 S Berlinetta by Vignale, the fifth of approximately 21 examples built and highly competitive in period, having finished 2nd overall at the 1952 12 Hours of Casablanca, 4th overall at the 1952 Monaco Grand Prix, and 10th overall at the 1952 Mille Miglia, among other events. Freshened for recent participation in numerous renowned vintage events, this is a beautifully finished example of a rare transitional model (Est. $2,500,000 - $3,500,000);

• 1955 Cooper-Jaguar Mark II, one of a mere three examples built of this unique Cooper design powered by Jaguar's racing-specification XK engine. Highly authentic, the car saw six victories at Goodwood and Silverstone in the 1956 and '57 seasons and today has been recommissioned by marque specialists for recent participation in prestigious international events (Est. $2,000,000 - $2,500,000);

• 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, a Factory Rudge wheel example of the iconic car, originally delivered to racing driver Umberto Maglioli and retaining its original engine and accessories (Est. $1,400,000 - $1,600,000); and,

• 1956 Arnolt-Bristol Roaster, a model famous in its day in SCCA competition. This car wears a high-quality restoration in striking colors, is equipped with its original engine, and is ideal for vintage driving events or the show field (Est. $325,000 - $375,000).

Post-war Americana

• 1955 Hudson Italia by Touring, a fascinating 1950s dream machine born of American power and Italian coachwork design. One of just 25 examples built, this car has been immaculately restored and is presented in fresh condition having had a believed four owners from new (Est. $350,000 - $450,000); and,

• 1966 Shelby GT350 H, one of just 85 early versions of the fabled 'Rent-a-Racer' delivered from the factory with a four-speed transmission. This car sports a well-maintained, attractive and correct restoration to concours standards (Est. $225,000 - $250,000).

Modern Performance

• 2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato, the sixth of just nine examples coachbuilt by Zagato for the world's greatest collectors to commemorate 100 years of Alfa Romeo road cars. Powered by an ACR-X all-aluminum 600 bhp V-10 engine, this is one of very few examples to have ever become available for public sale (Est. $400,000 - $600,000); and,

• 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider, purchased new for the Elkhart Collection, clothed in gorgeous Blu Tour de France over a Beige Tradizione interior and showing just 572 actual miles at the time of cataloguing (Est. $300,000 - $350,000).

Offered almost entirely without reserve, all cars in the Elkhart Collection have been meticulously maintained, showcasing a tremendous range of marques and price-points, representing nearly every category within the collector car market. Beyond the cars, the collection includes more than 30 motorcycles, a wooden triple-cockpit boat, an assortment of trucks, trailers, and equipment, alongside memorabilia such as children's pedal cars, neon signs, and a variety of ephemera and collectibles appealing to automotive collectors.
