1967 Oldsmobile F-85

The Oldsmobile F-85 continued to be the entry-level model for Oldsmobile in 1967 with prices starting at around $2,410. The F-85 was available with either an inline 6 or V-8 engine. The list of body styles included a Club Coupe, Station Wagon, and Sedan. The Club Coupe was the most popular, with over 12,000 examples produced in 1967.

The base six-cylinder engine had a 250 cubic-inch displacement, seven main bearings, hydraulic valve lifters, a Rochester Type BV one-barrel carburetor, and developed 155 horsepower at 4,200 RPM. The overhead-valve V-8 engine had a 330 CID displacement and delivered 250 horsepower at 4,800 RPM. A three-speed manual transmission was standard, and a four-speed manual with floor shift controls was optional. Other transmission options included a wide-ratio four-speed manual and an automatic.

Standard equipment on the F-85 included electric windshield wipers, heater/defroster, back-up lights, 7.75 x 14-inch tires, vinyl floor covering, and seat belts. The interiors were either vinyl or cloth.

For 1967, Oldsmobile's 548,390 total sales were enough to place it sixth in industry sales.
