1992 Ferrari 348 Serie Speciale

At the 1992 Los Angeles Auto Show, Ferrari introduced a 348 model that was different from the other models in the range, the Ferrari 348 Serie Special. Production was limited to just 100 units, and all were destined for the North American market. In 1992, 12 examples were built and the remaining 88 followed in 1993.

The Ferrari 348 Series Specialehad an improved leather sport seat, though some customers selected the standard 348 leather seats. The Series Specialealso had the prancing horse on the front grill, but not on the rear. The taillights were unique and there was a new front spoiler. Another change were the fully color coded skirts. Mechanical changes included a revised gearbox ratios and a free-flow exhaust system.

This car was to be a limited run of only 100 units, all of which were destined for the North American market. 12 of the 100 cars were built in 1992, and the remaining 88 rolling off the production line in 1993. This car is number 18 of 100.
