1958 Ford F-100

This Ford F-100 Custom Cab Pickup has a 'wraparound' rear window and has been given a recent restoration. It is finished in two-tone Colonial White and Azure Blue finish. The trunk bed has an oak floor with chrome strips, and the interior is upholstered in vinyl and features dark blue carpets and perfect gauges. An AM radio and 'Magic Aire' heating system are comfort options. The engine is an overhead valve six-cylinder unit displacing 223 cubic-inches and offering 140 horsepower.

The 1958 Ford F-100 Pickup was available in two sizes, with a wheelbase of either 110- or 118-inches (6½ or 8 feet) and with two styles of boxes. In the front was a new thin vertical and horizontal bar grille with two circulated headlights were enclosed on either side. The two style of boxes included the Styleside and the Flareside. The Styleside had an all-steel box while the Flareside had wooden floorboards and rear fenders.

Standard features on the F100 were safety double-grip door locks, sound deadener on doors, and a 'Lifeguard' steering wheel. They had a left-hand sun visor, Hi-Dri all-weather ventilation, ash receptacle, dispatch box, 12-volt electrical system, 18-gallon fuel tank, 3-speed manual transmission, and a 10-inch clutch.
