1955 Chevrolet Series 3600 Model J255

Chevrolet introduced the 'first series' trucks on October 28th of 1954 and the 'second series' introduced on March 25th of 1955. The 3600 Series was the 3/4-ton version resting on a 123.25-inch wheelbase and powered by an inline overhead valve six-cylinder engine displacing 235.5 cubic-inches, called the 'New Thriftmaster 235.' Transmissions included a three-speed manual, a four-speed transmission or Hydra-Matic.
