1955 Chevrolet Series 3600 Model J255

Chevrolet introduced the 'first series' trucks on October 28th, 1954, and the 'second series' was introduced on March 25th, 1955. The 3600 Series was the 3/4-ton version resting on a 123.25-inch wheelbase and powered by an inline overhead valve six-cylinder engine displacing 235.5 cubic inches, called the 'New Thriftmaster 235.' Transmissions included a three-speed manual, a four-speed transmission or Hydra-Matic.
