Volvo Car USA Reports May Sales
ROCKLEIGH, N.J. (June 3, 2019) - Volvo Car USA, LLC, (VCUSA) reported U.S. sales of 9,761 vehicles for the month of May, an increase of 4.5 percent versus May 2018. Year to date, Volvo Car USA is up 6.4 percent compared to last year.
'SUVs continue to be a growth area for us, with SUV sales up 9 percent compared to the same time last year,' said Anders Gustafsson, President and CEO, Volvo Car USA, 'the S60 continues to gain momentum.'

The XC90 was the top seller for the month with 3,201 vehicles sold followed by the XC60 with 2,872. The new S60 had the best sales month since December 2016, selling 1,707 cars.
