Volvo Car USA reports sales of 9,478 cars in October
November 2, 2022 by VolvoVolvo Car USA reported sales of 9,478 cars in October, up 8.9 percent compared with the same month last year. The underlying demand for the company's cars remains strong, especially for its Recharge models (EVs and PHEVs). The company's Recharge models represented 26.7 percent of total October sales with 49.9 percent of sales in California. In the U.S., October sales of Recharge models increased by 20.3 percent compared to the same month last year. The Volvo Car Americas region saw 11,536 cars sold during the month. Sales of Recharge models accounted for 29.6 percent of sales across the region. 'Demand for our cars remains strong despite inventory challenges and supply constraints,' said Anders Gustafsson, Senior Vice President, Volvo Car Americas and President and CEO, Volvo Car USA.
