Volvo Car USA today reported sales of 9,233 cars in November, up 20.4 percent compared with the same month last year. Overall, underlying demand for the company's cars continues to remain robust, especially for its Recharge range of pure electric and plug-in hybrid cars.
The Volvo Car Americas region saw 11,491 cars sold during the month of November. Sales of Recharge models accounted for 34.1 percent of sales across the region.
'Despite the continued industry challenges presented, consumer demand for our cars remains, especially for our Recharge plug-in and full electric models,' said Anders Gustafsson, Senior Vice President, Volvo Car Americas and President and CEO, Volvo Car USA.
