Volvo Reports February Sales
March 2, 2018 by VolvoROCKLEIGH, N.J. (March 1, 2018) - Volvo Car USA, LLC, (VCUSA) reported U.S. sales of 6,283 vehicles for the month of February, an increase of 35 percent from February 2017. Year-to-date, VCUSA sales were 11,850, an increase of 46 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. The XC90 maintained its position as the leading model with 2,444 sales in February 2018, an increase of 82 percent compared to the same month in 2017. 'With strong sales in January and February 2018, XC90 sales have already surpassed our total numbers for the first quarter of last year,' said Anders Gustafsson, President and CEO, Volvo Car USA. The XC60, 2018 North American Utility of the Year, was up 41 percent compared to the previous year with 1,955 sold in February 2018.
