Volvo Reports June Sales

(July 3, 2018) - Volvo Car USA, LLC, (VCUSA) reported U.S. sales of 9,868 vehicles for the month of June, an increase of 35.1 percent from the same period last year. Year-to-date VCUSA has sold 47,622 vehicles, an increase of 39.6 percent from the previous year. The new XC60 was the top seller for the month with 3,306 vehicles sold, the highest monthly sales volume for the vehicle since its launch. This was followed directly by the XC90 with 3,229 vehicles sold. 'Volvo has posted double digit growth each month for the first half of the year, equating to a 40 percent increase,' said Anders Gustafsson, President and CEO, Volvo Car USA. 'This month was no exception, marking the best June for Volvo in the United States since 2006.'
