For 1963 Buick produced 10,212 Skylark Convertibles and 32,109 Skylark Hardtop Coupes. Full-length body-side moldings joined the 1963 Skylarks. The coupes had rear quarter roof pillar emblems. The interiors of the convertible were done in vinyl and were optional in the coupe. Bucket seats in the front were also available at an optional price. Power came from a 215 cubic-inch, all-aluminum V8 with a four-barrel Rochester 4GC carburetor, five main bearings, hydraulic valve lifters, and offered 200 horsepower. A three-speed manual transmission was standard equipment, and a four-speed manual and Turbine drive were optional.
