1964 Chevrolet Biscayne Series

The Chevrolet Biscayne was in production from 1958 through 1972. It was named after a show car displayed at the 1955 general Motors Motorama. While in production, it served as the company's least expensive model in the full-size car range (except during the 1958 model year).

For 1964, the Biscayne came standard with a heater and defroster, dual sun visors, color-keyed floor carpeting, cigarette lighter, glove compartment lock, dual-spoke steering wheel with horn ring, foam-cushioned seats, front and rear armrests, ashtray, and crank-operated ventipanes. The insides were trimmed in patterned cloth and leather-grain vinyl combinations. The door panels were all-vinyl and the headliners were embossed vinyl. Bright metal could be found on the exterior of the car including a full-length lower body molding, rear cove upper molding, twin-style taillights, hood and deck emblems and nameplates, small wheel center hubcaps, and bright windshield.

The Biscayne was available as a 2-or 4-door sedan, or a 6-passenger station wagon. Pricing ranged from $2,415 - $2,760.
