Volvo Reports January Sales
February 2, 2018 by VolvoROCKLEIGH, N.J. (February 1, 2018) - Volvo Car USA, LLC, (VCUSA) reported U.S. sales of 5,567 vehicles for the month of January, a 60.5 percent increase from January 2017. Continuing the trend of the previous month, the top seller for January 2018 was XC90 with 2,149 cars sold, a rise of 38.1 percent. This strong result includes an increased allocation of XC90s for the U.S. market. The all-new XC60 continues to gain momentum with 1,620 cars sold. 'Volvo's momentum in the U.S. is strong, with the all-new XC60 named North American Utility of the Year. This is the second time in three years that Volvo has received this honor,' said Anders Gustafsson, President and CEO, Volvo Car USA. 'With the all-new XC60 and upcoming XC40, Volvo Cars will have the newest cars in the hottest automotive segments.'
